Travis Hough

Travis Hough, 35, passed away March 1, 2018 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Travis was born September 9, 1982 in Des Moines. He graduated from Saydel in 2000. Travis had worked for Accurate Hydraulics for the past six years. His pride and joy was his family. Travis was a great dad, husband, brother, uncle, coach, teammate and friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and any sports, especially softball and bowling. Travis was very involved with Saydel Little League, including becoming president in 2017. Travis was an avid Hawkeye fan.

Travis is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Savana; children, Pierce, Hana and Brahk; sisters, Shannon Hough, Barbie Hall and Debbie Hough; mother, Cindy Hough; in-laws, Perry and Lana Niles; brothers-in-law, Dustin (Mystie) Tyler and Louden (Hayley) Niles; grandma-in-law, Shirley Jean Cannon; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by father, Gary Hough; brother, Gary Hough, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
