Dale Allan Nicholson

Dale passed away April 18, 2018 at his home. He was born to Virginia and George Nicholson in Colfax, Iowa on April 9, 1947, the youngest of six children. He grew up in the Des Moines area and graduated from East High School. He was retired from the Air Force and was stationed for a time in Crete and many years in Arizona. He was married to Wanda Dawson and after she passed away and he retired, he moved to the Des Moines area to be near his family. You would find Dale fishing if the weather permitted.

He is survived by one son Allan Nicholson and a grandson Grayson Nicholson who live in Alaska, a brother Gary Nicholson (Sonia) and three sisters Nancy Ginnever (Dale), Sandra Grimm and Yvonne Lewis (Darwin), and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, sister Sheila Wright, and his parents.
