Steven Gillepsie

Steven Lee Gillespie, 64, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018, at his home in Des Moines.

Steve was born March 18, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa to Frank and Mary Gillespie. He lived most of his life in Des Moines, also spending time in Texas and Illinois. Steve was a truck driver and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rhonda Gillespie; son, Shawn (Bobbijo) Gillespie, mother-in-law, Adeline Hiatt; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law and their families; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cats, Crybaby and Roxie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Gillespie; siblings, Frank, Bonnie, Bob, Larry and John; and many nieces and nephews.
