Lisa King

Lisa Lynn King, 54, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. She was born September 18, 1964 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Jim Booth and Linda Preston. She graduated from Ottumwa High School. Her greatest joy in life was being a grandma. She enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, shopping and gardening. She loved her family and her brother will remember her as the “best sister anyone could ever ask for.”

She is survived by her children, Amanda Preston, Delbert King and Rachael King; grandson, Ayden King; mother, Linda Sue Preston; brother, Justin Preston (Diane); and nephew, Roland Preston (Lucille).

According to Lisa’s wishes, there will be no services held.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Lisa.

Im so sad to hear about this Lisa and I became friends in high school and remained close when we both lived in Des Moines. Its been many years but I always thought of her RIP Lisa
