Berniece Warden Scheel, 91, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019.
She was born May 23, 1927 in Polk City, Iowa to Jess and Ima (Fees) Warden. She is survived by her siblings, Helen Sedrel, Leo Warden and Rose Anderson, two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
Berniece was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; sons, Jay Scheel, Rick Scheel and Brian Scheel, and by her brother, Carrol Warden.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, also at the funeral home, with a luncheon to follow.
