Service Details
John “Dirty” Boylan died December 3, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Hamilton’s on Westown Pkwy. Visitation will be from 12 pm until service time at the funeral home.
Dirty was an Air Force Veteran and a lifelong member of the Des Moines El Forastero Motorcycle Club, FFFF.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, William Boylan, Barbara Meeks, Myra Cherry, Larry Boylan, Barry Boylan, Loretta Burk; several nieces and nephews and his lifelong brothers from the club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Luick Boylan.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The El Forastero Motorcycle Club

Sorry to hear about the loss of John. I worked with John and shared many motel rooms with him while out on the job. I asked him one day why they called him Dirty. He told me he didn't know me well enough to tell me why! John was a great guy to be around and work with. I will miss John and working with him.
