Michael Saltzman, 55, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2019 due to complications from cancer. He was born November 14, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to Fay E. and Betty J. Saltzman. As a youth, he attended Ft. Des Moines Open Bible Church. He was a lifelong avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan and enjoyed watching sports of all types. Michael was employed by Service Master, servicing the area Walmart stores. His family will fondly remember how you would rarely see him without a Coke in his hand.

Michael is survived by his father, Fay Saltzman; siblings, Marcena (Merle) Case, Leah Camp, Randy (Peggy) Clark, Ken (Sharon) Beliel, and Kim (Mike) Kline; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Saltzman; sister, Lorri Andreas; and brother, Denny Beliel.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, February 22, 2019, at First Assembly of God Church, 2725 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, Iowa beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please join the family for a light lunch starting at 11:30 a.m. at Connection Café at First Assembly of God Church.
