Savathdy Inthaboun

Savathdy Inthaboun, 65, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Savathdy was born June 3, 1954 in Laos. He immigrated to the United States in 1989. He was a hard-working family man. Savathdy loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time outdoors because he loved fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Bane; daughter Vandy and her children, Ethan, Baylee and Linkoln; son, Thanong (Chantrea) and their children, Aidan, Ava, Ariana and Alec. He is also survived by his siblings, Som (Choy), Keo (Linda), Song, and Cindy (Tom); and many nieces and nephews.

Savathdy was preceded in death by his mother, Kham; father, Xeun; and his brother, Nath.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. Burial of cremated remains will take place Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Glendale Cemetery in the Tai Dam section.
