Lucas Allen Campbell

Lucas Allen Campbell, 38, passed away December 31, 2019, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, on September 30, 1981.

Lucas attended Roosevelt High School in Des Moines and worked for Custom Home Improvements for many years. Lucas enjoyed pulling pranks on people, fishing, barbecuing, painting, listening to music, and collecting shot glasses. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

Lucas is survived by his significant other, Melissa Floyd; children, Alan Davis, Eternity Davis, and Wyatt Davis all of Redding, IA; mother, Doris Fineout of Swan, IA; siblings, David (Nutrene) Campbell of Colfax, IA, Rebecca Miner of Johnston, IA, and Travis Tharp of Truro, IA; as well as many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Davis; sisters, Teresa Clay and Lisa Rumbaugh; and his father figure, Danny Tharp.
