Eddie Howard

Eddie Arnold Howard, age 68, passed away peacefully under hospice care on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.

Eddie was born February 13, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Arnold and Geraldine (Darnall) Howard. He was the plant manager for Dee Zee Manufacturing, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed playing pool with his cousin, Terry and friends. Eddie liked fishing, golfing, spending time at Prairie Meadows, and reading Iowa Life Magazine.

He is survived by his children, Sue Ann Dalrymple (Stuart) and Matt Howard (Debby), grandchildren, Cameron, Seth, Madison, Landen, and Aden, former wife, Sue Howard, sister, Shirley Woodson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Geraldine Howard, and sister, Brenda Snook.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Cremation will follow.
