Ruth Robertson Ruth Robertson, 89, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born February 7, 1921 in Des Moines to Hope Lita (Hicks) and Earl Raymond Poush.

She enjoyed reading, going out to eat, and being with friends. Ruth loved having her family come to her home on Holiday Lake in Brooklyn, Iowa for family gatherings.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Carolyn A. (Richard) Holland, Paula (George) Wishman, and Corinne W. (Mike) Stanley; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lyle Edward Robertson;

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2010 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from 5-7 pm, Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston in loving memory of Ruth.
