Service Details
Donnie Lee McFadden, 50, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Donnie was born on October 14, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Abner and Carolyn McFadden. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and son.
Donnie is survived by his mother, Carolyn McFadden; sisters, Denise (Brian) Kinnaman and Diane (Donnie) Whisenand; children, Michael Parker, Timothy (Erika) Miller, Donnie McFadden Jr., Melissa (Mike) Byers, Dawn McFadden, and Donnie McFadden III; eleven grandchildren; three nieces; three nephews; grandmother, Lois Neff; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Abner McFadden.

Reading your obituary again after so long hurts more than it did almost 11 years ago. I still always have that urge to tell you EVERYTHING that's going on and I do but I wish I could hear your voice in response. I miss you.

My deepest condolenses go out to the family and freinds of Donnie during this time. I only knew Don for a short time, but during this time, he was such a gentleman. I enjoyed visits with him as he was charming and had a good sense of humor. He will be missed. I have faith and know that he is now in Heaven, suffering no more. He is now free and able to watch over his family from above! Much love to the family~
