Daisy Ruth Elizabeth Hyslope Harlow Daisy Ruth Elizabeth Hyslope Harlow, 91, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Mitchell Village Care Center in Mitchellville, Iowa. She was born December 14, 1920 in Des Moines, to Frank and Della (Johnson) Easter.

Daisy was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene where she was very involved. She enjoyed knitting and was a wonderful singer.

Daisy is survived by her children, Fred (Dorothy) Easter, Mike (Judy) Wilson, Charles “Chic” Hyslope, Cheryl (Allan) Blue and Alfred (Mary) Hyslope; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hyslope, Sr.; second husband, Alfred Harlow; parents; three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2012, at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th Street in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be given to Eastside Church of the Nazarene or Mitchell Village Care Center in loving memory of Daisy.
