Margaret Wickware Margaret E. Wickware, 96, was born February 28, 1916, in Scranton, Iowa, the daughter of Solomon and Grace Klehm. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Margaret graduated from Paton High School in 1933, and moved to Des Moines in 1943. On May 10, 1946, she married the love of her life, Hugh Wickware, and to this union one child was born.

Margaret is survived by her son, Ronald (Patricia) Wickware of Des Moines; grandsons, James (Gretchen) Wickware of West Des Moines and Jon (Angela) Wickware of Ankeny; great-grandsons, Ryan, Benjamin, and Levi; other loving relatives; and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and two brothers.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2012, at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be made to Care Initiatives Hospice through Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in loving memory of Margaret.
