Linda was born on June 27, 1942 in Des Moines to William and Signe Lamb of Highland Park. She grew up in Highland Park and attended North High School. After High School she attended the University of Iowa and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and she finished her education at A.I.B in Des Moines. In September of 1963, she began employment with the Meredith Corporation in Des Moines. After a break to raise her three children, she returned to Meredith, where she retired in June 2003.

Linda met the love of her life, William Dean Mosier, in Highland Park, and they were married on September 5th 1964. They had three children, who attended Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and School in Des Moines and Urbandale HS. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage until Dean’s death in October 2004. Later Linda became a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.

Linda was a lifelong sports fan and followed her Iowa Hawkeyes, where she had attended and two of her sons graduated university. Dean and Linda were season ticket holders and attended many bowl games to cheer on her Hawks. Memorable was a 1986 Rose Bowl trip they took together.

Linda had many lifelong pursuits besides following Hawkeye sports. She was a collector of things beautiful, built to last, and full of deeper meaning. Her most treasured collection was her friends. She counted herself blessed to have many friendships spanning as many as 70 years. Linda was always willing to lend a friend a hand or go to lunch or a show.

Linda is survived by her children, Mike (Annette) of Diedenbergen, Germany, Chris of Des Moines, and Aaron (Cynthia) of Des Moines, her grandchildren Nicholas, Alexander, and Elisabeth of Diedenbergen, and her Siamese cat, Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
