Matthew Mark Drew Matthew Mark Drew, 72, died at home on Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was born March 21, 1945 to Cloyde Dwain and Mary Katherine (McVey) Drew in Des Moines.

Matthew served in the Air Force, in Texas, right out of high school. He then returned to Iowa and got a job in the banking industry.

Matthew retired from Wells Fargo after 35+ years of service. He started when the bank was known as Iowa Des Moines National Bank. Once on disability, he focused his attention on other interests, including Old Time Radio, World Band Radio, Computing and occasionally reading a good book. Matthew was active in social and humanitarian causes his whole life.

Matthew was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen Marie Drew; and is survived by his sons, David, Scott, and A J; and daughter Love Beth Drew; as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
