On June 13, 2021 Pastor Roger Carlisle will officiate a graveside service and burial at the Odebolt Cemetery at 1:00 pm, followed by a joint celebration to honor Cody and his dad, Lonnie, at Prairie Pedlar Gardens, 1609 270th St. in Odebolt, IA.

Cody was born April 5, 1978, the best present ever for his mother who shared the same birthday, in Sac City, IA to Lon Curtis and Kathy (Lange) McCullough. Cody grew up in Odebolt and later graduated from Iowa State University. He married his high school sweetheart, Erika Down on June 9, 2001. They were blessed with their two beautiful daughters, Kate Anne on September 11, 2006 and Kenna Grace on July 27, 2009.

Cody worked for UPS for over 20 years. His free time was spent sharing experiences and creating memories with his dear family. Their lives were full of his ridiculous jokes, laughter and love, because of his devotion to them. Their favorite times were pool parties, beach vacations, golfing, ISU tailgates, watching the Bears and Blazer rides. Cody always looked forward to hunting trips with his Dad and bear hunting with his friends. He loved daily snap chatters, his fantasy football group and the UPS gang. He treasured these relationships and time spent jabbing and joking with all of you.

He is greatly missed by his wife, Erika; daughters, Kate and Kenna; his mom, Kathy Lippincott-McCullough of Omaha, NE; grandmother, Midge Lippincott of Arthur, IA; sisters, Brenda Lippincott Baker of Odebolt, IA and Mandee (Shane) Stephenson of Omaha, NE; nephews, Drew Baker of Portland, ME, Brendan Baker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Wyatt Stephenson of Omaha, NE; niece, Kyla Stephenson of Omaha, NE; and numerous in-laws, aunts, uncle and cousins. Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Lange, and Leo Lippincott; and his father, Lonnie Lippincott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Puppy Jake Foundation (to honor Lonnie’s service and veteran support Cody thought was important) or Lutheran Church of Hope. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.
