Paul Wagner, 54, passed away on March 21, 2024 with his wife Jenn at his side.

Paul was born May 23,1969. He grew up in Dallas Center, Iowa. Growing up, he was a talented musician who loved to play the piano and the trumpet. His talent for music provided a scholarship to Drake University and then he transferred to Iowa State University. Through the years, Paul continued to have a passion for music and would occasionally continue to provide lessons.

Paul moved to the Seattle, Washington area in the early 90’s. He briefly moved back to Iowa in the early 2000’s only to return to Seattle, where he preferred. He enjoyed watching the NFL especially his favorite team, the Seahawks.

Paul had a strong faith in God and shared his passion. He was a very loving man. He was married to his wife Jenn for eight years and they were so strong together. She was devoted to taking care of him during his illness. Paul dearly loved his two boys, Ryan and Caleb. He spoke often of them and was always proud of what his boys were doing.

Paul is survived by his wife, Jenn Wagner; his two boys, Ryan Wagner and Caleb Wagner; his parents, Loren and Rosalita (Rosie) Wagner; his siblings, Randy Wagner, Chistina (Ed) Reaman, and Maria (Mike) White; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA with funeral services following at 5:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Elm Grove Cemetery, 1101 S Avenue E in Washington, IA. The family invites family and friends to join them for a gathering at the Jim and Evelyn Eash Banquet Room at the Washington County Fairgrounds following the burial at 3:00 p.m.
