Funeral Director Continuing Education

Introduced by Carlton Peterson in 1979, our Funeral Director Continuing Education programs continue to expand and develop. We are pleased to offer six, two-hour continuing education programs for Iowa funeral directors free of charge. Each year, we offer relevant and substantive topics for funeral directors in Iowa and beyond, available both in-person and via live stream. We provide the proper documentation and keep a copy of the original record on file, but Funeral Director attendees are responsible for filing all necessary information with the State of Iowa Licensing Board.

All programs take place on Wednesdays from 4:00pm-6:00PM at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, unless stated otherwise, and are available via livestream.
