Christopher Iversen

Christopher Andrew Iversen, 38, passed away on March 22, 2024 at his home. He was born May 4, 1985 to Christopher and Rebecca (Rosenburg) Iversen in Des Moines.

Chris graduated from SEP High School and then entered into the Army. He served two tours of duty in Iraq and was very proud of his service to his country. After his honorable discharge from the Army, Chris lived in Texas for several years where he owned and operated a security guard company.

Chris is survived by his daughter, Skylar Finn; aunts, Stephanie (Brad) Tully and Pamela (Brian) Carberry; cousins, Michelle Downey, Jamie Schillinger, Amber Rosenburg, and Cody Rosenburg; and many beloved extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

His cremains will be interred at Iowa Veterans Cemetery on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
