Khamsoun Lovanh

Khamsoun Lovanh, 87, passed away Friday July 25, 2014 at home. Khamsoun was born February 5, 1927 to Kam Thongvanh and Munn Lou Thi in Banh Nam Koum, Meung Tae (Meung Lai Province) of Vietnam. Khamsoun was raised by Kham Orr Lovanh when Munn Lou Thi became a widower.

Khamsoun is survived by his children: Zunn Lovanh, Sac Ha Van, Khamchay Lovanh, Vilay Lovanh, Khang Lovanh, Fong Lovanh, Douangchanh Tao, Nanh Lovanh and Nenh Lovanh; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, AT Lothi, and son, Feng Lovanh.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue.

The family wishes to invite friends to the family’s home for a reception at 2702 S.W. 12th Street, Altoona, Iowa 50009 following the service.
