Martha Jones, 93, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. She was born March 3, 1921 to Peter and Jenny Redling in Jewell, Iowa.
She was a member of Highland Park Christian Church since the 1950’s. Martha worked for Cigna for 11 years.
She is survived by her sons, Roy (Lorna) Jones, and Robert (Joyce) Jones; grandchildren, Laicy (Steve) Marotti, Ryshelle M. Jones, Dr. Jennifer (Leo) Booth, Kenneth D. Jones, and Jeffery R. Jones; great-grandchildren, Abby Marotti, Matthew and Benjamin Booth, Phillip and Sophia Jones; and Walter Redling, brother of Jewell, Iowa.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Mabel Redling.
Private burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell, Iowa.

I worked with Martha for about 3 years. She was always pleasant to be around. Several times a day she would tell those of us sitting around her to "put on our catcher's mitt" and she would toss us a piece of gum or candy. Rest in peace, Martha.
