Mikel VanArkel, 30, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. He was born July 7, 1984 to Mikel Grunsted and Cindy VanArkel in Des Moines, Iowa. He is survived by his loving son, Brayden Miller; parents; sisters, Brandy VanArkel and Bailey Grunsted; and brother, Macon Grunsted.
A Celebration of Life will be held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Brandy VanArkel’s home in his honor.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Mikel.

Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel about your passing. You were a great guy with one heck of a personality and I know you're making those in heaven laugh, even though you were too young to leave this world.

You will be missed by many as you was loved very much and i no Ricky Joe would be very sad to hear this news .Im so sorry life got you to the point you could not handle any more .
