Linda M. Bentley

Linda Mae Bentley, 65, died September 22, 2014 at her home. She was born December 13, 1948 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dorothy and Howard Weltzin.

Linda enjoyed playing bingo and going to Prairie Meadows. She was a loving mother and always taking care of those around her.

She is survived by her children, Dianna ( Bryan ) Grube of Sioux Falls, SD, Brian Weltzin and Jerry Bentley, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jerilynn Swope, Justin Zylstra, Jessica VanAuken, Lorene Arbuckle, Brian Weltzin, Jr., Jamie Bentley, Julie Bentley, Jeremy Bentley, Mara Bentley, Jerrett Bentley; her great-grandchildren, Ryley, Raylan, Julianna, Nevaeh, Anthony, Zayne, Braydon, Mackenzie, Alexia, Lilyahana; sisters, Connie (Bob) Sereno, Debbie Morford, and Karen (David) Hall; as well as her brother, Ronald (Connie) Weltzin. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Bentley; her parents; brothers, Rick Weltzin and Michael Franklin.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2014, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery at later date.
