Lynn Mickle

Lynn Mickle, 53, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 27, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Lynn was born June 18, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Theodore and Lena (Barthouse) Hudson. She was united in marriage to William Mickle Jr. on December 31, 1979 in Des Moines, which was William’s parent’s 26th anniversary. She was most recently employed at Windsor Windows and was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking, hosting jewelry and purse parties, crocheting and sewing. But most importantly, Lynn loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, William; sons, Jesse (Samantha), Christopher, and Anthony (Marsee); grandchildren, Ellie, Hadley, Katelyn, Carlee, Alivia, Anthony Jr., Lillian, Avory and Arabella; as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, William Sr. and Beverly Mickle; and brother-in-law, Ricky Mickle.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will be 9:00 am Friday, October 31, also at the funeral home.
