Davone Phetpriyavanh, 61, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 1:46 a.m.

Davone was born May 6, 1953 in Vientiane, Laos. He was the son of Phom and May Phetpriyavanh. He is survived by his wife, Amone; children, Dao, Dee and Tommy; grandchildren, Teardrop, Romeo, Domonick and Ritchie; and brothers, Bounhom, Thanouthong, and Somnouk. He was preceded in death by his father, Phom; mother, May; and brother, Bounhao.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. Family prayers will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
