Rosario “Russ” Anthony Cardamone, 59, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at HCI Care Services Bright Kavanagh.
Russ was born May 28, 1955 to Carlo and Mary (Soda) Cardamone in Des Moines. He had worked for the Des Moines Register. Russ enjoyed playing the guitar, singing and family gatherings.
Russ is survived by the love of his life and companion of 24 years, Sharon Edwards; a host of extended family and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Russ.
