Margaret Van Note

Margaret I. Van Note, 92, died Friday, November 21, 2014 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Margaret was born January 9, 1922. She retired from Employers Mutual. She enjoyed getting together with her friends at Ligutti Towers and Elsie Mason Manor. She attended events at the Park Fair Senior Center and liked line dancing at the Val Air Ballroom, even into her 80s.

Margaret is survived by her cousin, Wanda Turchi and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Van Note and her sister, Merle Smith.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place in Panora, Iowa.
