Allan Paul Olson

Allan Paul Olson, 88, formerly of Des Moines, IA passed away on January 2, 2015, at the Rockwood Manor Nursing Home in Midland, TX. He was born to Gust and Esther (Swalin) Olson on February 5, 1926 in Pomeroy, IA.

Allan lived most of his life in the Des Moines area. He married Jacqueline Hines of Des Moines, IA who preceded him in death on February 15, 2010. He worked for Anderson Erickson Dairy for 31 years retiring in 1989.

Allan is survived by his daughter, Julie (Brad) Obbink of Alpine, TX; son, David (Bethany) Olson of Buffalo, MN; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Eileen Bell, Lucille Berner and Jean Peterson; and brother, Harold Olson. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacqueline; and brother, Leroy Olson.

Graveside memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Avon Cemetery in Des Moines, IA
