Danny R. Fiscus I, 67, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Bright Kavanagh House.
Danny was born July 7, 1947 in Des Moines to Robert and Velma (Wallace) Fiscus. He served in the United States Army. Danny retired in 1995 from the State of Iowa where he was the maintenance supervisor for over 30 years. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Danny is survived by his sons, Danny Fiscus II, Mike Barker and Dennie Barker; brother, Jim Fiscus; grandchildren, Ben, Laci and Ryan; and a host of extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Bob, Larry and Jack.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, followed by burial at Avon Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Im very sorry for the loss of Dan he was a great friend,and very honest and caring individual for the seven years he was my neighbor he will greatly be missed may God bless his family during this time
