Dear Jack-Dennis-Megan-Jacquelyn-Mark-Corey-Callie:
Betty and I were so saddened at the recent passing of my first cousin Jeanne. She was a wonderful and very intelligent woman that cared deeply for her family. We would see each other at meetings and events within the DMPS for over 37 years and we would always talk about Jack and her children, now grown with children of their own. Later conversations included the grandkids. She loved them so much. Jeanne absolutely ran Callahan Middle School for 30 wonderful years. She was highly regarded by staff, parents, and entire west side community. As you know, she was president of the DMPS Secretarial Association and everyone I know sought Jeanne's advice on how to get things done and to perfection. My mom used to talk to Jean every week on phone and she was very kind to my mom and dad during some difficult times. I only have two cousins and I was so proud that Jeanne was one of my first cousins. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family in the days that lie ahead. We know for sure that Jeanne is no longer suffering and is now in heaven smiling down upon us all.

Jack, Denny and Jackie and families. It is so hard to lose someone that has been around for 89 years. She was a special lady, my daughters Mother in Law, and Grandmother to my two grandchildren. When we visited DM Jack and Jeanne always made a point to visit with us. She was a great friend. Our sympathy to all of you in her loss. Cheryle Steggall and family.
