We are so very sorry about Kara. We are thinking of you all every day.Kara was a great cousin of ours and even though we did not see each other often, we still thought about her & her family. Every time I think of Kara, I see her smiling face. I tried to call Doug from a number I got online & it was disconnected. If there is anything we can do, please call us and we will be right there. We will see you all at the visitation & funeral. Again, we are so sorry and you are all in our prayers.

To the Steele family, hugs to all of you. I found this saying and although I never met Kara in person, I felt I knew her through all of the messages posted on facebook over the last year. This poem below reminds of something she would say to all of you.
A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me". Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with you your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin, Until the day comes we're together again.
