I want to say I am so sorry for the loss of Carl , you loved one, I was at the accident till the paramedics showed. I read carls Obituary and not knowing him we had a lot in common as in him taking care of his wife after a stroke, I take care of my 18 yr old son that had a stroke as well that I take care of, I read that always liked helping people, as I always help in the community as well with a clothing closet in my home , for people in need and I adopt families at Christmas time, I also noticed that Carl is being laid to rest at Highland Memorial gardens , that is where both my parents are. I will be at the service tomorrow, May you RIP Carl, from looking at all the readings here , you were a great man, fly with the angels, and my sympathy and prayers to the family for healing and strength God bless

We just found out today about you losing your Dad, Carl. He was always very nice to me when I would come knocking at your door. So very sorry for you and your families loss. With both of my parents gone too, I truly understand your grief. Thanks for being there for us when we needed help. Wish you were still our neighbor. Take care and God be with you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was one of the persons first on the scene and stayed with Carl trying to keep him with us until relieved by EMS. I, too, have battled the beast of alcoholism and have been sober 11+ years. I am so grateful to know I could be with a fellow warrior in carrying the message of hope to those who still struggle at the end of his journey. I, unfortunately, cannot be at the visitation and services because of my job working with addicts and alcoholics. My family and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
