Teresa "Terri" Scovel

Teresa Ann “Terri” Scovel, 67, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2015. She was born on April 1, 1948 to Richard and Rosalie (Higday) Draper.
Teresa worked at Prairie Meadows for 14 years and the Steer & Stein at the Iowa State Fair. She is survived by her husband, Wallace; children, Dawn Worley, Mark Worley, and Kirk Worley; mother, Rosalie Draper; grandchildren, Jessica (Collin) Close, Andrew Worley, and Matthew Worley; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Timothy Close; six siblings; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Draper and her son, Curtis Worley.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 23, also at Hamilton’s.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Teresa.

So sorry for your loss.And also that i never made it to the wake.Been a long time since connection with the Draper side of family. Hoping Gregg,Peg and my mom made it there?Its sad that alot of families go through something tramatic to reconnect.She will be missed though..

I had so much fun working with Terri. She had some stories and jabs she told that still make me smile. Prayers for the family in your time of sorrow, may God Bless you and hold you tight. Terri my dear, enjoy your wings, give Jesus a kiss for me and I will see you when I get there.

your mother was a wonderful person , she always had a smile on her face , knowing of issues in her life, you all should be so proud to have had her as your mother & friend , knowing when she told me her news she said that she was going to a better place , knowing she had wings, my thought was the song Wind breath my wings.
