I used to stop by Bob's home on Mahaska st. and watch him and friends build sprint cars. the last time I seen him was about 1970. At that time I believe he was beginning to build sprint car frames. He was getting orders from throughout the country, from some of the best names in sprint cars. Bob is a true legend. He'll be missed.

I am sorry we never meet Bob but we heard a lot of him and you. Bob was a great friend to our son, always there when he had his surgeries and coming and spending time with him when he lost his legs. I know it is late but we want to say thank you. Rob will always remember their friendship and their afternoons.
