Amy and Amber Fraaken
Des Moines
Amy and Amber Fraaken, mother and daughter, were taken from this life much too soon on Sunday, November 22, 2015. They were both beautiful people who were full of life. The world is a darker place without their joyful spirits here.
There will be a private celebration of their lives at a later date.
They will be forever remembered by Gregory Russell (son, brother), Sylvia and Ed Russell (parents, grandparents), Don Russell (brother, uncle), Wilda Fraaken (mother-in-law, grandma), and Carla and Jake Langford (sister & brother, aunt & uncle).
Condolences may be left for the family at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Amber, I miss you tons!! I remember all the silly videos we made together!! You always knew how to make me laugh, even when I was sad!! Your mom loved you and your brother with every ounce of her being, she talked about you so much! I will miss your smile, and ability to make me laugh!

I was the social worker at Amber's school Des Moines Alternative. It was a great pleasure to have known her and her mom for two years. I will really miss the two of them. I will miss Amber's upbeat personality and her huge smile. I am so sorry that they are both gone but one without the other would have probably been devastating. God bless them both as they will truly be missed.

The halls are a little dull now without Amber's smiling face around. I hate that you were so young but it may be a blessing in disguise maybe God knew your mother needed you and maybe he was ready for your smiling face to be around. Keep smiling and be stronger for us please we miss you!

Amy and I taught together at Uncle Sam's in the same classroom. It was pure JOY working and singing Beatles tunes with her! Amber, your mama loved you so very much. I am glad you two are together.....it would have shattered her, to have lost you. Give your mom a big hug from Ms. PJ !
