Thomas Alexander, 56, aka. Babe, Tom, Tommy, passed from this life on Thursday, November 26, 2015. He was born on January 15, 1959 to LeRoy and Louise Alexander.
He was known best for the love he had for his wife, children, family, and many many friends. Tom had a remarkable sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Connie; daughter, Andrea (Dustin) Shandri; son, Andrew (Lindsay) Alexander; granddaughters, Lauren, Quinn, and baby Shandri; mother, Louise Alexander; brother, Ronald (Donna) Alexander; sister, Maureen (John) Wooden; many nieces and nephews; and numerous adored friends.
Special thanks to his greatest friends, Bob Barker, L. Verne Fields, and Tim Boozell.
He was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Alexander; and his nephew, Jason Alexander.
Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 30th at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Thomas.

So so sorry for your loss of Tom we worked together for many years. He started at Waveland golf course. Thsts when I first worked with him. I could call Tom my friend. Tried to teach him that be careful out on the course. I was with Tom when a golfer hit him in the head with a stright drive to the green. I asked you ok. He said yes. But wasnt. He was always proud to talk about his kids. Gonna miss you Tommy Boy.

We are sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We know he is rejoicing in the presence of his Savior. I have great memories of Tom when we both were ornery little kids at Grandview.
