Irina Yanovskaya

Irina Yanovskaya, 59, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center.

Irina was born June 3, 1956 in Kiev, Ukraine. Beloved teacher of math who taught not only life’s best values to her students but to all that had the pleasure of her company. She practiced what she preached; upon moving to the United States she moved up from working a Pizza Hut oven to being a professional in the insurance industry.

She is loved and will always be remembered by her husband, Peter Roytman; son, Alex (Iana) Roytman; mother, Rakhil Yanouskiy; brothers, Alex (Tonya) Yanouskiy and Gregory Perchenko; sister, Vera (Mikhail) Figlin; niece, Vicky Yanouskiy; her Vinarski family from Israel; her former students and colleagues from Ukraine; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nikolay Yanouskiy.

Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Irina will be laid to rest at Tifereth Israel Cemetery.
