Howard P. Casey
August 20, 2016
Howard Casey passed peacefully from this life Saturday, August 20, 2016. Howard Paul Casey was born Feburary 17, 1928 to Paul and Constance Casey in Allerton, Iowa. Howard was united in marriage to Inez Wolfe on September 14, 1952.
Howard was known to be one of the greatest men to ever live. He was a calm, kind, and giving man always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He enjoyed conversations and never met a stranger. His greatest loves were his wife, family, and being silly. Howard always made sure to let everyone know how special they were to him, and his family feels honored to have had him in their lives.
He is survived by his wife, Inez; children, Jean (Harry) Rostoks and Doug (Tracey) Casey; grandchildren, Tyler (Jamie) Casey, Heather (Matt) Rostoks, Trevor Casey, and Leah Casey. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Madge Knutson; and brothers, Marvin and Max Casey.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa in loving memory of Howard.

So sorry for your loss. No doubt Howard is riding around in his pickup and making friends in heaven. I suppose he'll be a little ornery when he meets up with Mary and LeVerne though. They always had a great time with him and Inez. Hold on to all the great memories you made together. He was such a nice man.

My sincere condolences to Howard's family. A quiet, gentle, giving "favorite" uncle who could find a bit of humor in everything. He was everybody's friend. His infectious smile will be missed.

My condolences to the Casey family on the passing away of your loved one. True comfort comes in knowing that God does not cause our death. Hebrews 2:14 tells us the source of death. May you be comforted in knowing that God (Psalms 83:18) hates death and promises to eliminate death forever and bring the dead back to life on a cleansed earth. (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4; Acts 24:15)
