Tina Marie Kimmel

Tina Marie Kimmel, age 43, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Services will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines on Friday, October 28, 2016. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rising Sun Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Tina was born August 8, 1973 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marion and Millie (Jensen) Smith. She worked at Iowa Methodist Medical Center for 17 years. Tina loved spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoyed being outdoors and doing cross-stitching.

Tina is survived by her loving husband, Pete; sons, Pete Jr., Collin, and Bradley; father, Marion Smith; step-mother, Deb Smith; step-father, Jack Bensink; her brothers, Danny and Eugene (Christine) Smith; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Millie Bensink, grandparents, Ralph and Ruby Smith and Rita Doll, and her brother, Pete Smith.
