Elijah Noel Caraballo

January 16, 2017

Service Details

Elijah Caraballo, infant son of Alicia and Ruben Caraballo was called to be with the Lord on January 16, 2017. His pain has ended and he is now at peace.

Elijah was a strong and loving boy who was always happy and full of joy. He loved cartoons and his blue teddy bear. He had a great big smile that was contagious and lit up a room. Elijah’s smile could brighten up anyone’s day. He was such a fighter, and no matter what he went through, he would always smile. He brought his family so much love and joy and they love him greatly. Elijah loved meeting new people and trying new things. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalms 23 KJV)

Elijah is survived by his mommy and daddy, Alicia and Ruben; big sister, Mariah; big brother, Ruben Jr.; grandmothers, Hilda Caraballo and Sylvia Silvey; grandfathers, Martin Caraballo Sr. and Douglas Silvey; as well as other loving friends and family.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines following the service.
