Joanne L. Wieland

Joanne L. Oliver Weiland, 89, of Waukee, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at University Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Des Moines.

Married to the love of her life, Joseph J. Weiland for 64 years, Joanne was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed baking, sewing, arts & crafts, and genuinely caring for others.

Survived by daughter, Martha (Jane) Oliver, daughter, Diane Kempf and son-in-law, Robert Kempf, grandchildren, Tom, Joseph and Timothy and 15 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, date yet to be determined. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
