Steven Condit

Steven Ray Condit, 47, died Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Friday April 18, 2008 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Steven served honorably in the U.S. Army as a radio operator for two years and 10 months from July of 1979 until May of 1982. He was a disabled veteran who lived in Knoxville, Iowa for many years following his service to our country.
Steven is survived by his mother, Doris Jensen; father, Willard (Geneva) Condit; siblings, James, Bobby, Mary, and Jackie; step-sister, Peggy; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Louis Jensen.
A military graveside service will also be held at 11 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Iowa during his burial.
