Richard M. Bear

Richard Marvin Bear was born April 18, 1992, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Richard enjoyed music, dancing, motorcycles and fast cars. He worked as a cook at Pizza Ranch in Newton, Iowa, where he gained people that he not only considered his friends but also an extended family.

Richard passed away peacefully on November 27th, at 4:20am, surrounded by family. Richard was 25 years young.

He will be remembered by his moms, Nancy and Ginger Bear, father, Robert Johnston, grandparents, Donna and Bob Clark and Rosalee Johnston, his brother, Casey Johnston, step sister, Taylor Turner, uncle, Bob Clark Jr., and aunt Robin Wieland. Richard has several extended family members including nieces, a nephew, aunts and uncles and of course an extensive list of friends that were like family to him.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with a reception following.
