Marcus Vasquez

Marcus J. Vasquez, 57, of Des Moines passed away at his home on September 11, 2018. He was born to Natchio and Rosalie Vasquez on November 11, 1960 in Des Moines.

Marcus is survived by his sons, Marcos (Victoria) Vasquez and Alejandro Vasquez; his siblings, Natchio Mac (Shelly) Vasquez, Marty (Theresa) Vasquez, Nancy Saunders, Regan (Mollie) Vasquez; 3 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; his parents; sister, Amalia (Mollie) Vasquez; and brother-in-law, Larry Saunders.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 23 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Mexican American Legion Hall located at 1511 South Union St, Des Moines, IA.

Memorial donations to be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
