Judy Mae Butts of Altoona, 67, was born November 1, 1951 and passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her home with her loving husband by her side.
Judy is survived by her husband, David Butts; her son, Ted Eppley of Des Moines; her siblings, Ruth (Mike) Nixt, John Lantz and Linda Brinkman; other loving relatives and many special friends.
Cremation has occurred and no services are planned per Judy’s wishes.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project in loving memory of Judy.

So very sorry to hear of Judy's passing. My condolences to her family and all who knew her. I will always remember her as a classmate with genuine concern for her friends.

I am so sorry to hear that the angels have come for Judy. I have such fond memories during our school years and after we both moved to Des Moines after graduating. Judy always had a positive attitude and cared dearly for her family. There's a special place in heaven for her. To her family, may all your good memories with Judy overshadow your grief at this time. She will be looking down at you with a smile on her face.
