Death Certificate and Materials Courier - Filled
- The primary goal of the Death Certificate Courier is to establish a personal relationship and feeling of continuity with physicians, hospice personnel and the Polk County Recorders Office.
- The position has a pre-determined repeating schedule from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Pay is based on skills, ability, and performance.

Key Activities
- Deliver and pick up death certificates in a timely manner.
- File death certificates at county recorder in a timely manner.
- Interact respectfully and consistently.
- Take responsibility - assigned and unassigned.
- Phone communications with physicians.
- Maintain daily delivery schedule. Within scheduled work period.
- Some phone and reception activities.
- Complete required reporting.
- Help with Hamilton's Academy of Grief & Loss activities.
