Dave Cortner

Dave grew up here in Des Moines, on the east side. Prior to moving to New Jersey in 1999, Dave and his wife, Kathy, worked at Hamilton’s in the Advanced Planning department for 7 years. During their time in New Jersey, Dave served as a pastor for 23 years. After a battle with cancer, Kathy passed away in the fall of 2019. At that time, Dave “semi-retired” and moved back to Des Moines. He later married his now wife Connie here in Des Moines. Dave returned to Hamilton’s in December of 2020 and works again in the Advanced Planning department. Dave and Connie live in Beaverdale. He is active at The Mission Church in Urbandale. He and Connie together have 5 grown children and 17 grandchildren. Dave loves working with the Hamilton’s staff and meeting with families to help them in planning for future funeral arrangements.
