Kellie Leopold

Kellie Leopold is the coordinator of Hamilton’s Academy of Grief and Loss. After growing up in Waukee, Iowa, Kellie attended Iowa State University. She graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor in Psychology. She got connected to Hamilton’s through a class at Iowa State, where she was then able to complete service learning hours and start volunteering with the Academy! In her final year at Iowa State, she completed a semester long internship with the Academy, which led her right into her full time position as the Coordinator. Kellie is so excited to fulfill her passion of helping and supporting others in her community. 

When she is not working, Kellie loves to spend time with her two cats, Ivy and Goose. She also loves spending time with her family, including dinners, trips, and hanging out with her siblings. You can most often find her outdoors, and finding ways to be creative!
