Zara Yamen

Zara Karlee Yamen, 5 1/2 months old, beloved daughter of Noah and Tresa Yamen, died Sunday, April 15, 2007, of SIDS.
Zara was the center of the whole family’s universe. In her short little life, she touched so many people. She could light up the whole room with her little smile and pigtails. There was not one person Zara couldn’t make smile, she loved meeting new people.
Besides her mommy and daddy, Zara is survived by her grandparents, Mike and Melanee Yamen and Darrell and Lori Benning; her uncles and aunts, Job and Kala Yamen (and cousin, Zane), Mike and Brittany Marier (and cousin, Mackenzie), Levi Yamen and Willy Marier; in addition to many more family and friends, all of whose hearts are broken and miss her more than words can say. Zara attended the Highland Park Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses with her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Ave., with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Zara Yamen Memorial Fund at all MetaBank locations.
